This app provides an overview of the use of Aquamantys System by Medtronic, Inc. in a Total Knee Arthroplasty procedure. A combination of surgical video and animation provides an overview of the technology and how it may be used during surgery to manage bleeding.
The Visible Body tool for the Aquamantys System is intended as a training guide for use by health professionals. The instructions for use are referenced and embedded within the application.
Medtronic is not introducing new decision criteria or recommendations with this tool. The tool does not diagnose disease or other conditions nor does it ascertain the appropriate therapy for a patient.
The decision regarding the appropriate therapy for a patient must be based on diagnostic information from other sources, clinical judgment, and applicable clinical and professional practice protocol.
